Chemical Kids

Are childhood cognitive and physical disorders on the rise, or were they just under-diagnosed in years passed?

Are ADD and learning delays a result of watching too much TV and playing too many video games, or are they a result of exposure to toxic chemicals in a child's environment?

Are cancers on the rise or do we just have better technologies to detect them?

These are tough questions to answer, but if you are a parent, they are worthy of your consideration. In fact, your child's health depends on it.

At WRC,we endeavor not only to provide a place for your child to connect with nature and to establish strong foundational learning skills, we also hope to inspire you to think outside the box, to consider new ways of changing your family's life to increase health and wellness, and to be honest about the impact we all have on our world - and our responsibility to do something positive for a change.

Check out this Kid-Safe Chemicals Act: 10 Americans video from Ken Cook, from the Environmental Working Group (EWG). And when you're done watching, consider giving your monthly latte allowance to this amazing group to help them continue their research.
