What's Going on in the Playroom...

Things are a-buzz in the playroom...from playing with mathematics manipulatives and planting seeds, to singing and taking surveys of plant life in the garden, children have been quite busy doing what children do best -- playing!

What kinds of things do we do in the playroom? Children explore, poke, question, ponder, discuss, and consider their world around them. They engage in activities and games that are messy, as learning itself often is. I send children home dirty, wet, and often covered in markers, paint, and play dough, which is the only way to go! (Okay, I try to warn parents ahead of time when paint and potting soil are involved!) We dress up, make puppets, and tell stories, too. But most importantly, the children have a great time while they develop important foundational concepts and skills that will help them be successful life-long learners.

Session II: March 2nd - May 1st

And don't forget about Friday Fun Days...this is free play from 3:30-5:30p.m. Children ages 3.5 yrs+ may be dropped off to play. Parents welcome to stay and socialize with other parents, too! First come, first play basis, so call after 12pm on Fridays to reserve your child's spot.

To register, all you need to do is contact us and tell us which workshop(s) you wish to enroll your child in, and we'll get you set up in short order.
